Lorna Irvine reports on a 'charismatic bunch'.
Okay, they're on their way, but I really must big up this North London quartet as they are getting better and better all the time.
Since their debut single ‘Fluffy’ dropped in 2013, Ellie Rowsell, Joff Oddie, Theo Ellis and Joel Amey have broken through into the mainstream with crunchy rock, which straddles shoegazing and post-grunge.
‘Giant Peach’, ‘Blush’ and ‘Heavenly Creatures’, massive guitar anthems all, have cemented their reputation, particularly on the live circuit. Plus, they're named after a warped Angela Carter story, so you know they're a winner.
Catch the charismatic bunch on tour as of next week. Their debut album My Love Is Cool is released on June 22nd.
